This Vintage BAKELITE VIOLA/VIOLIN TAILPIECE w/TAILGUT is New!
It still has its original Price Tag
Back in the early 20th Century, it cost a whopping 55 cents!
It's a bit faded, but I think it also notes that it is 1/2 size.

The underside is stamped BM/CO (which I believe is for the Boston Musical Instrument Company)
My Grandpa passed away in the 80s. In amongst the piles of stuff he had collected was a small metal cabinet of various musical instrument repair parts. I don't quite know why he had it, but I am, at long last, clearing out its contents.
I'm downsizing, so I'm hoping to find a new home for my collections.
