    Description

    This premium leather mandolin strap by Saga is produced to retain the features of the legendary straps made by James Alan Shelton more than 30 years ago. James would make these by hand one at a time in his shop in Gate City, Virginia, and hand tooled them for a select group of professional musicians. These became hard to get after he joined Ralph Stanley and the Clinch Mountain Boys as their lead guitarist. Now these are available for everyone.
