This high quality handy tool is a must for setting soundpost in violins & others. It has one end for piercing the soundpost (this end must be sharpened to a very fine angle). The other end is notched to move soundpost after it is upright and ready for positioning. CAUTION: Never force a soundpost into its final position. If the fit feels too tight, consult a qualified repair person.
Nickel-plated steel construction has one end for piercing with the other being notched to hold the post in position for final placement
